We have been involved in the cohousing project from the beginning, with the desire to create wonderful, sustainable housing in a rural environment with close proximity to town. Belfast Area Cohousing promises that, as well as a wonderful community in which we can safely raise our children and socialize without having to get in a car to do so.

Heather is a Family Practice Physician and an avid runner and knitter. She enjoys spending family time both at home and doing outdoor activities in the summer and winter.

Matthew is a residential designer committed to the environment and making sustainable, energy efficient homes. He is in a design build partnership (G.O. Logic) that will be building the community's energy efficient (and wonderful!) homes. Matthew also sits on the board of the Cornerspring Montessori school, where he has helped broaden the educational opportunities for the children in Belfast and surrounding communities.

Hadley is an elementary student with a serious love of climbing trees, skiing, ice skating, riding her bike, playing her violin and reading (not necessarily in that order). Finnian is an elementary student who loves to be outside and moving! Playing soccer, ice hockey, snowboarding, skateboarding and riding horses are his greatest joys. Liam is a Pre-K lad who is busy keeping up with his older siblings, as well as informing the entire family of how things should be.
